Description of project & system: On the 1st expansion level, an LTA air filter type AC 8002 with a suction output of approx. 10,000 m³ sucks the release agent vapors of 3 presses The aerosols are separated from the contaminated air and stick to the collector surface or condense partially and are drained towards the bottom. Once per day, the offline cleaning cycle is started. For this purpose, the system is switched off and flushed with cleaning oil through nozzle fittings integrated in the filter. This pre-cleaning process takes about 35 min. After that, the system can be operated again right away. The contaminated oil is cleaned in a centrifuge in the course of the next few hours and is then again available for the next cleaning cycle. The residues of the release agent are collected in a container and may then be disposed of.
The advantage of this system – next to the fewer service staff required – mainly lies in the unlimited usability of the cleaning oil. Only the part lost through volatilization must be replaced. In contrast to this, the water used must be replace in regular intervals in case of conventional wet cleaning systems. Besides negative environmental aspects, this also causes high consequential costs for the disposal of the water.
The solution offered by LTA for this project comprises the cleanable large filters type AC 8002 (1st expansion level, approx. 10,000 m³ effective suction output) or AC 16002 (2nd expansion level, approx. 20,000 m³ effective suction output) with attachment accessories, one spraying system for the online cleaning of the filters, one cleaning system, the piping + exhaust piping as well as the complete assembly, setting and commissioning of the turn-key system.
