Integrated Air Purification and Heat Recovery of Tempering Ovens

LTA came up with the following solution to eliminate the problem in this case: A heat exchanger is installed between tempering oven and air filter cooling the sucked air down to 40° C before returning the air heated up in the counter flow to 185° C to the tempering oven. In this way, approx. 80% of the heat is recovered and returned to the tempering oven. Due to the pressure loss of the heat exchanger, a special blower is installed in front of the LTA air filter which is able to overcome high pressure losses.

The sucked air is cleaned by means of electrostatic air purification via an LTA air filter AC 3022 and may then be delivered to the atmosphere or hall.
