VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA — (Marketwire) — 06/18/12 — Galaxy Graphite Corp. (TSX VENTURE: GXY) (the „Company“ or „Galaxy“) is pleased to announce that it has commenced field work on its Laurier graphite property, located approximately 40 km SE of North Bay, Ontario.
Initial work will include line cutting and ground geophysics (VLF/Mag). This work will be carried out by Meegwich Inc of Temagami, ON. This will be followed by a prospecting, mapping and sampling program. This work is expected to be completed by the end of June, 2012.
The results of this work will be used to develop drill targets.
Chris M. Healey P.Geo, a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, has reviewed and approved the technical content of this release.
