For an efficient suction, a special chip collection channel was required which was designed and manufactured by LTA. The cleaned exhaust air of the filter is used to blow the chips over to the collection side. There, the chips are sucked and then separated via various filters. Two cyclone separators are installed to pre-filter the coarse particles. This is followed by separating the residual chips and dusts using an LTA cartridge filter type DF900 JET. For the aluminium MQL, a filtering aid is introduced via a precoating unit to prevent the filter cartridges from sticking together. Within the shortest of time, filtering system and suction channel were assembled and handed over to the customer in turn-key condition.
This solution ensures that the air is not sucked and purified via two different filtering systems; instead, two quite different applications are handled via just one suction system which efficiently collects and separates the air.
