Users are offered new horizons in the field of instrumentation and control by combining the new Q.station test controller with the test.con 5.0 Studio graphical programming interface. In just a few steps the Q.series instruments can be converted to a high performance system with I&C, visualization and operating functions. First display and control features matched to the specific application are designed using the mask designer for the Q.station touch screen, for a mobile device (PDA or mobile phone) and/or for visualization on a PC. Then the desired solution is created graphically from a comprehensive library of function blocks. Boolean operations, calculations, process controls, PID controls, etc. are available for this purpose. After creating the function and defining all signal variables, these variables can be linked to the display and control features already defined and then downloaded to the system. The system then operates independently and can be controlled directly by the Q.station controller via one or more masks. Naturally a PC or mobile device can also be used in parallel.
