Songwon appoints Joachim Bayer as their new Global Business Manager for Specialty Antioxidants and New Products

Joachim will take responsibility for the entire specialty antioxidant product line to establish sustainable and profitable growth. At the same time he will be charged with developing the expansion of the specialty portfolio and the identification of new market opportunities. In parallel to the specialty antioxidants responsibility, Joachim will also lead Songwon’s efforts in delivering new products and solutions tailored to meet customer demands. The key focus will be on expanding existing antioxidant offerings based on the emerging needs of specific industry end-use markets such as automotive, pipes and wire & cable.

Joachim Bayer holds a degree in Polymer Chemistry and an MBA. During his six years with Songwon he has held a number of positions in Technical Sales and Business Development and has been Songwon’s Director of Global Technical Service and New Product Commercialization since 2011. This position has been handed over to Thomas Schmutz recently.
