CANDOR expands its broad selection of premium solutions for immunoassays with ReadyTector®, the all-in-one Solution for Western blotting. With ReadyTector® the originator of LowCross-Buffer® expands its selection beyond ELISA products. The development of this innovative solution for quick Western blotting is based on the specific CANDOR know-how in the area of immunoassays.
ReadyTector® accelerates and simplifies immunodetection on Western blot membranes. Blocking and immunodetection are carried out simultaneously with this all-in-one solution. Fewer working and washing steps save time and provide results more quickly.
Dr. Peter Rauch, the responsible Managing Director for product development, explains: “We successfully combined blocking and immunodetection with primary and secondary antibodies in a one-step procedure. The most important prerequisite for a one-step incubation is the very fast and more effective blocking of the membrane compared to classic procedures.”
ReadyTector® is ready to use without any pre-dilution or pre-incubation steps. The product contains all ingredients for a one-step immunodetection (blocker, stabilizer, secondary antibody conjugate).
Dr. Rauch adds: “ReadyTector® contains specific and high quality secondary antibody conjugates. They are highly selective, extensively tested and optimized for a one-step incubation. With ReadyTector® we successfully generate reproducible and high quality results.”
It is very easy to switch from the classic immunodetection procedure with several incubation steps to the faster and more convenient ReadyTector® method. All other working steps and materials remain unchanged. The same primary antibodies can be used. The blotting procedure, the membranes and the detection of the signal remain unchanged. No new device or equipment is necessary. ReadyTector® is easy and can be used for almost all applications.
The ReadyTector® Solution with the valuable primary antibody can be re-used up to 5 times. Due to the additional stabilizing of antibodies and peroxidases the re-use after storage is possible without any problems. ReadyTector® contributes to a more economical application of primary antibodies. ReadyTector® reduces background and enables clear and sharp bands for most applications. The test results are publication-ready.
The ReadyTector® kit contains the all-in-one Solution and the appropriate 10x Wash Buffer. Bottle sizes of 40 ml, 120 ml and 500 ml are available.
