The good news is: The fiber optic temperature sensors from Optocon AG are also available in a nano-powder version. Bound nano scaled GaAs powder adhesive, replaces the previous GaAs crystal. By light scattering of particles, the optical response time is similar to the time of crystal. Advantage: Mechanically more stable sensors, paired with the known advantages of fiber optic temperature measurement in microwave fields, strong electric and magnetic fields, magnetic resonance imaging, high-voltage environments and wherever electrical sensors can-t be used. The sensors can be prepared with our NANO-KIT in a few steps on customer side. All needed tools and materials are included. In addition, the procedure is explained in a well-illustrated guide, so that everyone is able to prepare a temperature sensor.
