VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA — (Marketwire) — 01/16/13 — Mansfield Minerals Inc. (the „Company“) (TSX VENTURE: MDR) is pleased to announce that the TSX Venture Exchange (the „Exchange“) has approved a change of the Company-s name to „Goldrock Mines Corp.“, which will be made effective on January 21, 2013. The common shares of the Company will commence trading on the Exchange under the new name at market open on January 21, 2013 under the new trading symbol „GRM“. The share capital of the Company remains unchanged. The shareholders of the Company previously approved a special resolution to approve the change of the Company-s name at the Company-s annual and special meeting which was held on December 19, 2012.
These changes emphasize Goldrock Mines- long-term objective to become an annual 250,000 ounce gold producer either organically through development of its existing properties and/or acquisition of near-term production assets through purchase or merger.
