PRINCE GEORGE, BRITISH COLUMBIA — (Marketwire) — 06/22/12 — Lakeland Mills has temporarily closed its planer mill and shut down its district energy system as a precautionary measure. The action was taken as a result of monitoring that found unusually high levels of methane gas at the Lakeland Mills site.
A media teleconference will be held this morning at 11:45 a.m. PDT to provide details on Lakeland-s response to this issue. Greg Stewart, president of Sinclar Group Forest Products, of which Lakeland Mills is a division, will address the media and take questions.
