HOUSTON, TX — (Marketwire) — 03/07/13 — Intergraph is hosting CADWorx & Analysis University (CAU) Express events in Mexico City on March 7 (); London, UK on March 19; Johannesburg, South Africa on March 22; and Dubai, UAE on March 25, 2013 that will include educational tracks on Intergraph CADWorx for plant design and CAESAR II and PV Elite for piping and vessel analysis and design.
The CADWorx 3D track will cover advanced spec building; plant models, P&IDs, and isometric drawings; and point clouds for producing as-built models. CADWorx 2D topics will include P&IDs for downstream, sharing between instrumentation and P&IDs, electrical deliverables, and electrical and instrumentation publishing. CAESAR II pipe analysis and design topics cover spring support design, interface customization, and buried pipe modeling. PV Elite vessel design topics include API 579 Fitness for Service and corrosion impact, vessel openings, and effects of creep in design.
CAU2013 Express is a global series of one-day plant-focused learning experiences designed to help designers, engineers, analysts, and other stakeholders involved in engineering analysis and plant design improve their knowledge and skills and enhance their organizations- productivity through collaboration between design and engineering analysis.
