The Spectra 3001-15 is the industry-s first rugged and robust low-cost 15-meter USB 3.0 extension cable that provides 5Gbps throughput and a full 5V, 900mA of power. The cable features locking connectors, an LED indicator at the device connection point for operating verification, and is compatible with AIA USB3 Vision compliant devices. Simplifying the installation process, the Spectra 3001-15 is bus powered, thus allowing users to avoid the need for an additional power outlet to support USB3.0 peripheral devices such as cameras and storage devices. This active copper cable is ideal for commercial and industrial applications such as machine vision, medical imaging and post-production editing.
As with all of Icron extension products, the Spectra 3001-15 comes with a two-year warranty and includes the ExtremeUSB® suite of features such as plug-and play-functionality (no software drivers) and compatibility with all major operating systems, including Windows 8.
