TORONTO, ONTARIO — (Marketwire) — 05/10/12 — David J. Birkenshaw („Birkenshaw“) announced that he acquired ownership and control of 6,374,000 common shares („Common Shares“) of Concordia Resource Corp. („Concordia“) on May 9, 2012 which represents approximately 7.44% of the then issued and outstanding Common Shares of Concordia (the „Transaction“). Immediately following the completion of the Transaction, Birkenshaw alone owned and controlled 10,598,500 Common Shares, representing approximately 12.37% of the issued and outstanding Common Shares of Concordia. The Transaction was made through the facilities of the TSX Venture Exchange. Birkenshaw acquired the Common Shares for investment purposes. However, Birkenshaw will review his holdings from time to time and may increase or decrease his holdings as future circumstances may dictate.
