WUPPERTAL – Wagener & Simon WASI GmbH & Co. KG has given its sales services a new structure. Since the beginning of this year, the 3 new sales areas of Industry, Commerce and ICO/Solar (Inter Company and Solar), have been replacing the former 4 sales divisions with their 6 sales departments. „We adapted the structure of our new sales services to the requirements of our customers in order to meet their needs in a more satisfying and efficient way. From now on every customer only has one contact for all products of WASI Norm, WASI Solar, WASI Special and WASI Maritim“, says Dirk Kiele-Dunsche, CEO of WASI.

The new sales area Industry includes acquisition and re-activation of customers as well as services for medium-sized companies and also for large enterprises. This will enable WASI to fulfill the customers- requirements even better and with more detail. More than 300 customers with a high demand for stainless steel connector elements and with special service requirements will benefit from the fact that they have both a contact in the sales office team plus a direct sales representative. „Business partners who have a higher demand for expert advice, assortment and service will always get the competent attention, service and help they need. Furthermore, this classification will make the communication between WASI and the customers easier“, explains Frank Lehrich, manager of the new sales division. Industry

The sales area Commerce is subdivided into national and international customers. The requirements of retailers differ more and more from those of industrial customers. These requirements are met by a team of many native speakers. Here again it becomes obvious that WASI speaks the language of the customers. Ralf Dosin manages that division.

The sales area ICO/Solar incorporates those business areas of the Würth-Group of which WASI has been a part since 1978. The future-oriented Solar division is included here; a line of business in the world of aluminiums in which the specialist for stainless-steel has quickly managed to make a good name, too. „This is an area where we want to continue our co-operation with the Würth-Group as an effective sales channel in Europe for the systems developed by us. This enables us to establish our range of products faster and more effectively within the solar industry“, explains Thomas Fischer, manager of ICO/Solar.

The three customer oriented sales divisions of Industry, Commerce and ICO/Solar are supported internally by the technical division. Division manager Carsten Balzar is responsible for the product management, quality assurance and complaints management. Therefore he is the hub of operations in terms of quality and the range of all products.
