CMOS HDTV Image sensors for highest applications

With the new global shutter HDTV sensors 9221/2 and 9225/6 viimagic GmbH offers a high performance CMOS sensor for highest quality applications. Thanks to the high dynamic range the sensor can be used for optical metrology and 3D-measurement such as non-contacting three-dimensional shape measurement. In surveying and engineering work it is used for measuring triangulation networks.
The new feature-rich 2 Megapixel sensors in 2/3” optical format exhibit uncompromised full 1080p HD even under low-light conditions at frame rates up to 240 fps. With DDS (correlated Digital Double Sampling) processing, frame rates up to 120 fps are achievable. Operated in HDR (high dynamic range) operational modes the new viimagic product realizes a dynamic range of more than 120 dB.
