März 28 08:29 2012

Stuttgart, 28 March 2012 – For years, SAP PLM 7 pioneer CENIT has contributed its experi-ence with the Right Hemisphere technology to the market. And for more than 5 years, the strategic development and consulting partner to SAP and Right Hemisphere has offered integrated solutions for generating, managing and working with highly optimized 3D product geometries in SAP.

In acquiring Right Hemisphere, SAP has documented the importance of product visualization in de-cision-making processes within manufacturing enterprises. SAP is now making the first version of the Right Hemisphere technology available on its SAP Service Marketplace as an integrated component of the SAP software portfolio. The product will be offered together with a standardized implementation package, currently being developed by SAP and CENIT as part of the joint SAP Rapid Deployment Solutions project.

CENIT has already been acting as global value added reseller (VAR) and systems integrator for Right Hemisphere since 2006. “We are pleased that we can seamlessly continue the successful partnership with CENIT, now as a part of the SAP family. CENIT’s thorough technology know-how and deep process expertise make it an invaluable partner to SAP in rolling out the SAP Visual Enterprise solution to the manufacturing industry”, says Michael Lynch, former CEO of Right Hemisphere and now Vice President of SAP Visual Enterprise Applications at SAP.

At the upcoming CENIT SAP PLM Innovation Day on 20 June 2012 in Walldorf, experts from CENIT and SAP will jointly present the new potentials inherent in the development of a Visual Enterprise. The new technology will be demonstrated by way of concrete application scenarios embedded within typical business processes of manufacturing enterprises. Examples of successful on-the-ground implementation will help the audience understand the practical benefits of the new solutions. Following a live presentation of the system, the architecture and infrastructure experts will explain the preconditions that must be met before the technology is introduced. Ay an afternoon session on standardized implementation packages and introduction concepts will round off the demonstration.
