In order to comply with the highly complex requirements of the new 2006/42/EG machinery guidelines, Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) has developed the new F02 pressure transmitter. It complies with the highly complex requirements of the new 2006/42/EG machinery guidelines. The F02 possesses the necessary properties required by the EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508 standards for the compliance of functional safety. As a result, it is ideal for use in systems that require a pressure transmitter wit
Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) developed the M01 pressure transmitter specifically for industrial vehicles and mobile machines. This transmitter is now also available for pressure ranges from 1 bar. The type of integrated pressure element is now dependent on the pressure range. For pressure ranges under 10 bar a silicon element is used. The element, which is available for relative and absolute measurements, has the passive side to the media to provide a relatively high media compatibili
Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) designed the NGS2 gyroscope sensor especially for mobile work machines and off-highway vehicles. The robust housing makes the NGS2 suitable for the harsh conditions associated with these applications. The NGS2 can also be utilized as an inclination sensor, as both sensor types can be integrated into a single device. As a gyroscope sensor the 3dB bandwidth is 40Hz. In the standard unit, the measuring range is set to 50 ?/s. The achievable resolution is
Sensor-Technik Wiedemann (STW) has developed a series of products to meet the complex requirements of the new machinery directive 2006/42/EG. These products feature characteristics required for the fulfilment of the functional safety requirements of the EN ISO 13849-1 and IEC 61508 standards. They are targeted for use in systems that require Performance Level PLd or Safety Level SIL2. All products are design to meet the performance and environmental requirements of industrial vehicles a
Sensor-Technik Wiedemann GmbH (STW) is introducing the new T01 temperature transmitter. The temperature transmitter was specially developed for use in commercial vehicles and mobile working machines. It is based on a highly accurate PT1000A temperature element in a welded stainless steel casing. As a result of the high-quality materials used, which are tried and tested in mobile hydraulics applications, the T01 is compatible with an extremely wide range of media and exhibits a high level of mec
The "iF Product Design Award" is one of the most coveted award in the world for outstanding design. This year, the jury of 49 design experts honored the Schaffner ultra compact single and double-stage IEC inlet filters FN 9280 and FN 9290. In the 60 years during which iF, first as an association and later as iF International Design Forum GmbH, has been organizing the annual design competitions iF Award as a perfect mediator between the worlds of design and business, the awards
