In the future, Berner & Mattner will be more involved in the development of new tools for the Automotive Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR) being an active member (contributing member) of the AUTOSAR tool platform (Artop). The community, open for all AUTOSAR partners, is aiming at offering all basic functionalities required for designing and creating AUTOSAR development tools via its platform, including the source code. Berner & Mattner, actively involved in the AUTOSAR tool platform (Artop), will be a driving force for the design and rollout of new development tools for the Automotive Open System Architecture (AUTOSAR), together with other renowned core developers. The specialist for model-based testing thus contributes to a faster implementation of AUTOSAR requirements in new products helping establish and comply with relevant standards more consistently. AUTOSAR is a development partnership between car manu-facturers and suppliers of ECUs, ECU software and microcontrollers. Using standardized architectures and description and configuration formats, AUTOSAR is aiming at simplifying the exchange of software on various ECUs.
