First SEH Gigabit Network Printing Solutions and New SEH Print Server for HP Printers and MFP
Bielefeld, February 6th, 2008. – Network printing specialist SEH introduces two new print servers for printing in gigabit networks. PS1103 is equipped with three USB 2.0 High Speed ports to connect printers and multifunctional peripherals (MFPs) independent of manufacturer to fast gigabit networks. Kyocera output devices with KUIO interface which have to process high data volumes in very short time can now connect to gigabit networks with PS1109. Both new print servers are compatible with all Ethernet standards (10BaseT/100BaseTX/1000BaseT). In addition, SEH now offers the new PS06 print server for HP output devices with EIO port. This model is based on the powerful „PS“ hardware platform. All models are available as of March. Prices are 169 Euro (excluding VAT) for PS06, and 182 Euro (excluding VAT) for PS1103 and PS1109.
Gigabit networks for the fast transmission of high volume data are spreading out more and more. Printers and MFPs which are connected to such a network via gigabit print servers receive and process print data ten times faster than Fast Ethernet networks. The SEH gigabit print servers PS1103 for USB output devices and PS1109 for Kyocera printers and MFPs also support further future technologies such as IPv6.
Powerful Print Server for HP Printers and MFPs
SEH also enlarges its PS print server series with the Ethernet interface card PS06 for HP output devices with EIO port. As with all models of this series, which includes the new gigabit print servers PS1103 and PS1109 as well, PS06 is IPv6- enabled and features the latest ThinPrint .print client v7.x, including ThinPrint SSL encryption as well as several authentication methods according to the IEEE standard 802.1x. Support of all common operating systems and protocols, comprehensive after-sales service, and warranty are standard for all SEH high end print servers.
