Some ten years ago, RKW developed the RKW ProVent® plastic sack, thereby setting a new industrial standard in the packaging of powdery goods. RKW ProVent® is an efficient, sustainable, weatherproof and durable alternative to conventional paper packaging when it comes to transporting, storing and distributing powdery goods. To date, more than 250 million RKW ProVent® sacks have been delivered worldwide.
As a highlight for this year–s POWTECH trade fair in Nuremberg, RKW is displaying an evolution of the original design, the RKW ProVent® Advanced, which offers enhanced functional safety and additional model variants. Its introduction marks the company–s successful implementation of a modular product portfolio at a new level of production that offers numerous different designs and applications. The original model was specially developed for the cement/construction materials/construction chemicals industries – and its developed version, the RKW ProVent® Advanced, is also aimed at companies from the chemical and food industries.
RKW ProVent® Advanced is highly adaptable to filling systems and allows manufacturers and filling operators to create optimized, user-friendly settings for their machinery. At the same time, the loss of filled product is minimized. Retailers profit from long shelf lives and the option of safe outdoor storage. Thanks to its significant advertising impact, the plastic sack also serves as a high-profile marketing tool. End users stand to gain from straightforward, clean handling and a significantly extended minimum storage life for the products it contains.
In addition to the RKW ProVent® product range, visitors to the trade fair booth can look forward to a wide portfolio of plastic solutions for protecting goods during storage, transshipment and transportation: FFS films, valve sacks, RKW Handisac®, stretchhood films as well as transport and pallet protection films. RKW solutions are used in the most diverse industries, including the areas of cement, construction materials and construction chemicals as well as in the chemical and food industries.
