MONTREAL, QUEBEC — (Marketwire) — 08/08/12 — Graniz Mondal Inc. („Graniz“ or the „Corporation“) (NEX: GRA.H), announces changes to the composition of its Board of Directors. Robert Bryce and Michel Lusignan have resigned from the Board of Directors of Graniz, effective Friday August 3, 2012. Graniz thanks Messrs. Bryce and Lusignan for their service on the Board.
Mr. Donald Theberge, as remaining director, has filled the vacancies created on the Board by appointing Martin Lafrance and Gilles Roy to the Board.
Mr. Gilles Roy, Ph.D. is a consultant specializing in Information Technology (IT) and Management Information Systems. He is a graduate of McGill University and the University of Montreal and holds a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Mr. Roy often speaks at international conferences, and specializes in „intelligent“ systems for decision support and Business Intelligence. He is the author of “ Conception de bases de donnees avec UML“, an award-winning textbook at the „Prix du livre d-affaires-Les Affaires-HEC-COOPRO „. Mr. Roy has served as the Director of Computer Sciences at UQAR, as well as a professor at this institution. Mr. Roy has served namely on the board of directors of Lyrteh Inc., a TSX Venture Exchange listed company.
Mr. Martin Lafrance studied business administration at the Universite du Quebec. Known for his determination and dynamism, Mr. Lafrance is a very successful entrepreneur in the region of Quebec City. He is President of Montgolfiere Aventure Inc. and President of Evenma Inc. Mr. Lafrance is on the Board of directors of Caisse Desjardins de la Pointe-de-Ste-Foy and was on the Merger Committee of two Desjardins Credit Unions (over a billion dollar in assets). Martin Lafrance is also member of the Board of Arboretum Experts, member of the Board of SIG Marketing and member of the Board of Paraski Aventure. Mr Lafrance will bring to Graniz Mondal Inc. his expertise as well as his knowledge of the business field.
