More than 750 visitors to the exhibition stand on five days: ACHEMA 2012 was a great success for the Romaco Group. The leading supplier of packaging solutions and processing equipment recently presented its technologies to an international audience on 403 square metres of floor space. Almost eighty percent of the prospective clients and other interested persons came from abroad, notably from Asia, South East Asia, the Middle East and North Africa. The globalisation trend was led by Romaco: according to the ACHEMA management, foreign exhibitors from 56 countries worldwide accounted for nearly half the total attendance at the trade fair – more than ever before.

“The majority of our guests willingly accepted the long journey”, said Gary Kedgley, Vice President Sales of the Romaco Group. “The trade fair represents a unique opportunity to show how our machinery actually works in practice. The first impression is often crucial for the quality of the long-term relationship.” More than a hundred sales agents provide active support to Romaco customers all over the world. Most of the Group’s ACHEMA visitors were introduced to the new technologies in their native language. “Staying close to the customer is a vital precondition of successful partnerships”, Gary Kedgley emphasized.

More than 200 ACHEMA attendees were specifically interested in Romaco’s new Noack 960R blister line. This highly automated packaging line, which achieves a maximum output of 600 blisters a minute, was kept very busy with live demonstrations on each day of the exhibition. The machine has already been sold to the German AENOVA Group.
