The company Kabelkonfektionswerk Schwarzwald GmbH introduces the new generation of water and dust proof plugs. The protection mode is IP 66 and is tested according to EN 60529:1991/ DIN VDE 0470 part 1:1992-11 from the VDE Test- and Certification institute. The water and dust proof 2-, 4- or 5 pole plugs from soft rubber (PVC; 85 Shore) are directly moulded to the wire. UL-versions are available upon request. Three sealing lips laying in a serial row are blocking the ingress of water and dust. Other cables and plugs for mechanically higher demands are also available.
